Our mission is to help men struggling with addiction, and other life issues, regain their lives relationally, financially, and spiritually through a transforming relationship with Jesus Christ.
Check back often for fundraising events that are designed to build community and provide additional funding to support the cause of recovery in the Chattanooga area.
How Can You Help?
You don’t need to be a former addict/alcoholic or even a man to participate in the mission of helping these men who are recovering. You just need a heart for those who are seeking recovery and Christ. Here is how you can partner with us…
Prayer
Pray for the men, their families and the staff. Commit to praying for an individual man’s needs. We’ll connect you with a man, his needs and a way to contact him so that you can personally encourage him.
Without your prayers, this ministry would not happen.
Donate
These donations will go toward many different needs such as assisting an incoming resident with deposit and two week’s rent; house supplies like furniture, small appliances, cleaning tools, yard work tools, everyday tools, linens, food, toiletries, and cleaning supplies; new house purchase to start another sober living home; vehicle and house maintenance; scholarships for individual needs – court fees, family emergencies, medicine, counseling, first month bus pass, marriage class, etc.
Volunteer
We welcome church groups and individuals to volunteer there time on a weekly or monthly basis. Volunteers are needed for help with yard work, discipleship, job placement, transportation, etc.
Discipleship opportunities are needed with prayer, calling, texting, share a meal together, field trip, etc.
Partner
Our Monthly Partners receive updates, prayer requests, and first-hand stories from around the globe. The devoted giving of our faithful partners helps to ensure that the message of God’s saving grace is shared with as many people as possible each day.
The only reason Friends House Ministries can continue sharing the gospel is because of the support of people like you. We need your unique gifting and skills to keep this work going.
